Hey, there hi

I’m Nikolay Chakarov, a DevOps engineer and systems administrator based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

I’ve been fascinated by technology since I was a kid. My journey began back in 2003, when I started experimenting with PHP and building websites during the era of Internet Explorer, ActiveX, and Macromedia Flash (yes, before Adobe took over!).

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats, from running my own PC repair shop to working as a PHP web developer , and later evolving into a DevOps engineer.

Yes, I do SERVERS. From assembly the bare metal to setup multi-dc multi-node private cloud clusters.

Monitoring and alerting of the bare-metals, clouds, containers, clusters or any blackbox app.

I can rsync any folder from one disk to another or build multiple MinIO clusters with tired herarchi.
